Prime Time is precarious and at any time the top shows can be cruelly yanked from glory by an audience's hand (or euthanized by their own creators). These series all had their moment in the sun, and now serve as milestones of Prime Time's past.

How It Works

9AM Meeting

created by Dan McCoy
First time contributor Dan McCoy's disarmingly laid-back cartoon (co-starring and co-written by 101ny regular Matt Koff) spent six months at number one on the way to a fine 10 episode run. They underwent the first under 5-minute self-cancellation in 101ny history in November '10.

Hater-Bot

A couple of fellows behind 2009 favorite Dos Bolas landed back in Prime Time with this show about a cranky robot, then self-cancelled after a well-liked 7 episode run.

Truly Unbelieve Experience

First-timers Justin Parker and Jimmy Craig debuted in Prime Time with a show that marries a grandfatherly host to tales of paranormal activity. This show. It ran to a respectable 4 episodes, taking a bow at the May '10 screening.

Who Shot Steve Q?

created by Aldous Davidson
Aldous Davidson returns to Prime Time with this doc-style whodunnit that asks which put-upon cast or crew member might be responsible for the on-set murder of an imperious a-hole director. Although beautifully shot by John Arthur Kelly, the mystery may never be solved, as the May '10 audience sent Steve Q to the grave..again!

Skate City

Welcome to Skate City, the city wherein skating is a preferred pastime! Sadly, we'll never know if Skate City gets found, as the Apirl '10 screening brought on cancellation. Look for Bromos alum Nick Bernadone in front of the camera (and the editing computer).

Stryker Files

The Escape Pod Films gang ran to four episodes with this genre send-up that took on the tropes of a badass PI show. They hung up the grey wig in March, going out on their own terms.

Jon and Cat

created by Aldous Davidson
Vamps creator Aldous Davidson brings us a show that's a bit like Garfield, if Garfield had way more of a dark side than just hating Mondays.
